What is Eve Teasing?
Eve Teasing means the unwanted sexual harassment of a girl by the boy publically. It may be any type, just to clarify terms, can range from a whistle or comment of a sexual nature to any physical gesture, made to someone, usually a woman, usually a stranger, who is passing in public. It may be any form The boys with growing age 16-22 show this type of stupidity.
We come to hear about rape cases, eve teasing, acid attacks, human trafficking, etc. In the cases about the girls, we live the frequently violent society where the fear of crime is ever-present and increasing.

Women’s Personal Safety Tips:
1.) If You are Taking an Auto or Taxi at Night:-
Experts Say: Before getting into an auto/taxi at night, note down its registration number and then use the mobile phone to call your family member or friend and tell them details of Auto number, place from where you have picked the auto, Time when you pick the Auto and how much time it takes to reach your destination in the language the driver understands. If however, any candidate no answers you call, pretend you are in conversation. The auto driver knows that someone has his details and he will be in serious trouble if anything goes wrong. He is now bounded to take you home safe and sound. Now;
“A potential attacker is now your de facto protector! “
2.) What if any driver turns into a street he is not supposed to – and you feel you are entering a danger zone?
Experts Say: Take your purse or Stole (Dupatta) and wrap around the neck of the driver and pull hum back. Within few seconds, he will be unconscious, feel choked and helpless, now run away towards safe side. If you don’t have purse or stole (Dupatta), just pull hum back by pulling his Shirt collars.
3.) If you are stalked (followed or track down by unknown) at night.
Experts Say: You enter a shop or a house near to you and explain your predicament to someone. If it’s late night and no any shop or home open, then go inside the ATM Centre. In the almost all the ATM Centres have Security Guards or Close Circuit Television (CCTV) Cameras. Fearing of identification, the person will no dare to attack you. This is greatest weapon you can ever have.
4.) If she finds herself alone in the company of a strange male in a lift in a high-rise apartment late at night?
Experts Say: When you are in the lift and feel alone in the presence of the strange person, press all the buttons up to your destination. Like, if you need to reach on the 13th floor, if you press all buttons, the lift stops on every floor, and no will dare to attack you.
5.) If a stranger tries to attack you when you are alone in your house?
Experts Say: Run into the kitchen other than other rooms. As the chilly powder, turmeric are kept. And in the kitchen you will also find the knife, plates, Rolling pin (Belan), etc. and you can use them as deadly weapons. If you don’t have the these, start throwing plates & utensils & Scream.
Remember that: Noise/Screaming is the greatest enemy of the molester. He never wants to be caught.
6.) When travelling by public transportation (Bus, Train, etc.) choose the right seat:-
Experts say: If you are travelling on the bus or train, do not sit on the window side seat as you may be “blocked in” by a potential assailant. Always select the place next/nearest to the aisle (a passage between rows of seats in a building such as a church or theatre, an aircraft, or train.) so that you can leave quickly if necessary without any difficulties.
7.) If you receive Obscene phone calls:
Experts Say: If you receive an obscene/crank call, don’t talk to the caller. Hang up the phone if the caller doesn’t respond or say anything obscene. Now, note down the date and time of the calls with the number. If they are persistent, inform to the police.
8.) If you are a student:
Experts say: Students are advised to avoid studying in separate classrooms in College/University Campus where is no any regularly patrolled by the school’s security officers.
